Signing and communication skills for those working with children with special needs
Introductory session
- half day:
This course is a fun, informal taster to enable delegates to experience
a way of making speech and communication skills development more exciting
by using a multi-sensory approach. This course incorporates the use of
signs and symbol work.
Full course - 20 hours:
A complete course using a multi-sensory approach to encourage speech,
observation, reading and writing skills with children who experience difficulty
in communicating. This course incorporates the use of signs and symbol
work.
This is a fun course using practical skills. Students will be asked to complete small tasks.
